The menu features a live fire grill, handmade fresh pastas, and sharable plates. Chef Rogers has over ten years of experience making fresh pastas and imported a custom built Italian pasta machine for Pawpaw. Chef Rogers is an award-winning young chef who recently relocated from San Francisco. General Manager Jared K. Jones curated the beverage program for Pawpaw, which highlights local liquor, rare bourbons, and Charleston beers on tap, as well as unique wine varietals from around the globe. Notably, he also spent a year traveling, tasting, and building relationships while rediscovering the wines North Carolina. North Carolina is the oldest wine making region in the USA, with 180 of wine making history, and, stunningly, the region has quietly been winning international awards in wine since 1900. He’s found a handful of magnificent local wines from the Yadkin Valley, NC to pair with Chef Roger’s modern Southern cuisine.
