Notably, he also spent a year traveling, tasting, and building relationships while rediscovering the wines North Carolina. North Carolina is the oldest wine making region in the USA, with 180 of wine making history, and, stunningly, the region has quietly been winning international awards in wine since 1900. He’s found a handful of magnificent local wines from the Yadkin Valley, NC to pair with Chef Roger’s modern Southern cuisine.
